Quiksilver is a company of surf wear, surf and other board sports equipment. It is based in Huntington Beach, California, USA. The company was founded in 1969 by two young Australian surfers, Alan Green and John Law. The Quiksilver logo, a cresting wave and snowcapped mountain, is designed by the company founder Alan Green in Torquay, Victoria, Australia in the early 1970s.
