Niki de Saint Phalle, born as Catherine-Marie-Agnès-Brandon Fal de Saint Phalle (1930 –2002) was a French artist, sculptor, painter and movie maker. She developed her style through various mediums. During her youth, she was a fashion model and she appeared on the covers of prestigious magazines like Life Magazine in September 1949 and French Vogue in November 1952. She began to paint at that time, experimenting with different styles.
