Gaye Straza Rappaport developed her fragrance Kai to capture the scent of Hawaii, where she spent her youth vacationing. She sold it at her first exclusive upscale women’s boutique in Malibu, California. She sold her boutique in 1999. and decided to continue the fragrance line. Designer Kai has 4 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1999 and the newest is from 2017. The nose who worked on the fragrances is Gaye Straza Rappaport.
