Jacques Heim

Jacques Heim's parents, Isidore and Jeanne Heim, Polish Jews, are furriers, they opened a fur workshop in 1898, one year before the birth of their son. Young Jacques started to work with his parents. He makes dresses and coats with original fabrics in collaboration with Sonia Delaunay, a multifaceted artist. In 1925, he participated with Sonia Delaunay at the “Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes” in Paris. They exhibit together "the shop simultaneously."
