Izod

Izod is a sportswear and casual clothing company, founded in the USA in 1938. The story goes like this: An American businessman Vincent De Paul Draddy searched for the name of his new clothing brand. While he was on a vacation in London, he encountered well respected tailor Jack Izod and his boutique. Jack Izod himself created the Windsor tie-knot for King George V. He was ready to retire and he agreed to let Draddy purchase his brand’s name. The brand was named Izod of London. Izod of London became well known name in the “preppy clothing” industry when it paired with Lacoste from 1952 to 1993
