Ginestet is a more than hundred years old French house of legendary Bordeaux wines. It was founded by Fernand Ginestet in 1897, settled in Quais de Bacalan in Bordeaux. Fernand Ginestet created the “Estate and Trade Union”, thus pioneering in what is today known as the “Interprofession Bordelaise”. The “Estate and Trade Union” became the Bordeaux Wine Council in 1948.
