Cindy Crawford

Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Crawford was born in 1966 in Illinois, USA. While she was jobbing as a corn harvest helper when she and her looks were discovered by a newspaper photographer who took her picture. When she learned that her picture got positive feedback, she decided to give modelling a try. At the age of 17 she entered a modelling contest hosted by Elite Models Management and finished second straight away. Shortly after the same modelling agency signed her.
